On this week’s episode of A Dog’s Devotion, I am honored to welcome Nelda Corbell, Co-President of Wings of Rescue, an extraordinary nonprofit that gives animals a second chance at life—by flying them to safety.

Wings of Rescue just completed another mission, flying dogs from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Brownsville, Texas. These weren’t just flights; they were lifelines for pets who had nowhere else to go. Each mission represents hope, compassion, and the power of people coming together to save lives.

In our conversation, Nelda shares the heart behind their work, the logistics of airlifting thousands of pets out of crisis, and the emotional stories of the dogs who went from shelters to safe havens where loving families were waiting.
